The Best Boots For Fall Part 1

This  is the first week with lower temperatures around here and finally it feels like fall. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the extended summer, but I am ready for a wardrobe change and can’t wait to rock my latest boot purchases outside the house.  The selection of boots  on the market right now covers every style from military to white, all the way to metallic and embellished and  there is something for everyone. With all that said,  it can be  can be overwhelming to navigate through  all  the stores and styles.   But don’t  you panic, I browsed the web for you and picked the most important trends. I have a higher priced  and affordable  version of each style to accommodate any budget.

White Leather Jacket And The Perfect Pleated Skirt

The weather here   keeps giving and giving and I have  been taking full advantage of it; traveling and enjoying  many beautiful sites in the upstate NY area. Apple picking, pumpkin picking, admiring fall foliage, corn maze escape, you name it, I’ve done it all.  Of course the best part  of all this is dressing up and especially  dressing for dinner with my husband.

We live in a time that casual looks dominate our day to day lives and I take going out as a chance  to dress up and feel special.

My outfit today fully represents how I feel, soft and feminine like my skirt; strong and powerful like my jacket.

The entire look, minus the t-shirt are all sample sale finds. The Theory jacket  is one of my best scores ever, it was only $20.00 down from $885.00.

The skirt is from a brand I used to love, Elle Sasson ( unfortunately they are no longer around ). I got it for $40.00 down from $545.00. My bag is Botkier for $35.00 and my shoes are Altuzarra  Tally for $75.00, down from $995.00. When I was buying the shoes I was debating between the olive and the black and I am really happy I chose the olive for how unique the color is.

If you feet inspired by my look, I linked similar items below to create your own.

Gucci VS Zara Cardigan – Love And Love For Less

Alessandro Michele and Gucci are dominating the fashion world right now and if you are like me you want every piece made by them.

Unfortunately  my budget does not agree with all their prices ( I some how don’t have a problem paying $2800 for a bag, but I can’t justified for  a cardigan ) and that’s why we have Zara coming to the rescue.

We have two very similar pieces with two very different prices.

If you are hard core Gucci girl and can afford it the choice is easy, but if you love the look  and  also your wallet defentely check the low coast Zara version, which by the way is one of their best selling items this season.

Which one you will buy?

Modern Casual Chic For Work

When I am meeting with a styling client I like to look chic and professional and never overdressed. My usual to go look is a blazer with jeans. To keep the look elevated I choose luxe fabric ( like silk in this case ) and modern or classic cuts.

In today’s look I went with a modern “pajama” look blazer from Rag&Bone. I found the blazer and  the  Theory silk top at the same sample sale, respectively $35.00 down from $595 and $10.00 down from $125.00. They are the perfect silk  combo against the edgy black jeans. I found my jeans in my local Target on sale for $15. I linked them below, but they’re still full price online, so check the store first. The  High heels gives it  feminine  punch. I wore my beloved Pashli bag that I scored at Saks Off Fifth awhile ago and been enjoying a lot lately. Its a small bag, but is very practical and perfect for casual or dressy look.

You can style blazers and jeans in so many different combinations and I like to switched up all the time.

Let me know in comments bellow whats your favorite blazer and jeans combo.
