With the sun finally out, here on the east coast, the time for new spring outfits is officially here. When I think spring I think of fresh and light colors, interesting prints and new combinations. With crop tops still dominating the fashion world I find this one from Topshop to be a must have, first because it’s not very short and second because the print is very chic and you can make endless outfits with it. My first look is the perfect going out ensemble – simple, sexy and sophisticated. If it’s still little chilly outside just wear a simple light coat on top. I know there is no time left before Valentine’s day, but I have to share this look with you. I did it few weeks ago, but some other projects came up and I could not post it. So finally I got some time and got straight to it. Usually I am not a “pink” girl, but who can resist some pink for Valentine’s. I found this stunning skirt from HONOR ( buy the way the brand just showed at Fashion week and the collection is amazing , report on it is coming ) and pair it with simple tank top, leather jacket to edge it up and some sparkle and shine in the shoes and the necklace. The look is bold, but soft and feminine at the same time and any girl will feel like a princess on the most romantic day of the year.

I know this post is a bit late, but last week was extremely busy with Fashion Week and fighting the snow on the streets of NYC. Full review from the best of Fashion Week will be posted soon. I put the outfits together in the last minute, but they truly represent my vision of how a girl should look for her love one.
The first one is for the young girls in their 20’s. Instead of the classic red dress I picked a red jumpsuit. Its flirty enough, but also soft and romantic done in lace. Paired with heart earrings and super high heels for complete BOOM HERE I AM!!!
The second look is for the Ladies in their 30’s and 40’s. Its sexy but also sophisticated. The black jumpsuit with a statement necklace are the focus point of the outfit, the white clutch and the cocktail ring are the perfect balancing accessories. Red lipstick is a must for this look. (lately I am loving the FLOWER in Rose bud – made in USA and not tested on animals).

When I think of a modern classic outfit, the combination of navy and red always makes the list. I have few variations of this look and it’s definitely one of my signatures. It’s simple, it’s sophisticated and it’s always on trend. The basic is a navy jacket, white t-shirt, dark denim and a pop of red – shoes or a bag. You can play with the different shapes and styles but stay true to the original idea. If these jeans are too skinny go with a wider leg, if the jacket is too short opt for a classic blazer. For more a casual look stay with the t-shirt, to polish it up do a sharp white shirt. To keep it fresh always choose current accessories. And this is how you can have a timeless look and be right on trend.
TIP 1 – The rule of investing in the best quality shirt is valid for the t-shirts also. T-shirts are a must have basic, the better the quality the more wear you will get out of it.
TIP 2 – I wear this look with wide leg jeans and super high wedges. The wider the leg, the wider the heel of the shoes.
