The invitation season has arrived and with the more RSVPs you send back, the more outfits you are going to need. In the next few weeks I will show you a few ideas on how to create an outfit for various wedding scenarios.
The wedding guest dress code I follow is very simple and effective. My number one rule is to go classic with a trendy element; in this case I picked a classic fit&flare dress, the modern print and the mini length are the trendy elements. Think of a wedding as an extra special event and take this as an opportunity to dress up. I always say that the photos will live forever, so make sure you are not going to regret your choices. Don’t wear anything super sexy and revealing, keep it classy and elegant. And last but not least is the consideration of the venue. The venue will be your starting point of what direction you need to go. You want to be remembered for a stunning outfit and not because you were wearing a full length gown to a beach celebration.
For an #outdoorwedding I prefer vibrant colors in light prints or solids. Avoid sparkly and glittery dresses, keep them for evening affairs. I like to go with shorter lengths, because I have options and can choose between sandals or stilettos. The accessories have to be modern and complimentary, stay away from matching everything.
With all this in mind, you can have the perfect #weddingoutfit. Let me know what kind of a wedding you are attending.
