Spring

It’s not that often when you can wear a flowy floral dress in November in New York. Usually around this time we are being hit by a snow storm (or two) and fighting the elements in full gear. Not this year! The temperatures last weekend were in the high 70’s and felt more spring than fall. I had plans with my friends to hit the city for a night out and that was the perfect opportunity to showcase my recent vintage purchase. If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen the amazing Paloma Picasso book clutch I found in a flea market in NJ. I only paid $20.00 for it ( it was $25, but me being me, had to talk the price down with the seller).

I did some research on it and was surprise to find out how rare they are and still going for $400-500 on Ebay. The clutch is the perfect brown suede that screamed fall and I happened to have the same color Haute Hippie suede vest in my closet already. I scored the vest few years ago when Haute Hippie used to have great sample sales. At that time I paid only $40.00 for it. Marked down from $695.00.

I don’t like to be too matchy-matchy and I am always looking for colors to flow together, that’s why I wore it this floral dress from Target. The pop of green makes the look fresh and modern and compliments the brown perfectly. Of course I found it the  on the sale rack for $24.48.

Last but not least are my Loefler Randal booties I got  from the Rebecca Taylor sample sale for only $25.00 marked down from a  retail price of  $395.00 (the last sample sale was a big disappointment with higher prices and uninspiring styles).

Me and the girls had a great time in Grenwich village. We found the cutest grocery store that looked like a fun beauty boutique and had an amazing dinner.
